The Minister of Administrative Development Discusses with the Swedish Ambassador in Damascus Ways to Cooperate in Developing Government Performance

The Minister of Administrative Development, Mohammad Hassan Al-Skaf, held a working session today, Friday, with the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Sweden to Syria, Jessica Svärdström, discussing the prospects for bilateral cooperation in the areas of developing government work and enhancing administrative capacities.

During the meeting, both sides reviewed the national plans for comprehensive institutional transformation led by the Ministry of Administrative Development, along with capacity-building programs and the qualification of human resources, and ways to benefit from modern administrative experiences and exchange expertise between the two countries.

The Minister Al-Skaf emphasized the importance of international partnerships in supporting institutional reform paths and updating administrative structures, noting the ministry's openness to all forms of cooperation that contribute to improving government performance and enhancing a culture of quality.

For her part, Ambassador Svärdström expressed Sweden's interest in supporting efforts for administrative reform in Syria, confirming her country's readiness to cooperate in the areas of training, capacity building, and exchanging successful experiences in public administration.
