The Syrian Minister of Communications praises the digital experience of Saudi Arabia and confirms a new start for technical integration between the two countries

The Syrian Minister of Communications and Technology, Abdul Salam Haikal, returned today, Sunday, from an official visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, where he expressed through the "X" platform his pride in the Saudi digital experience, which he described as "exceptional," confirming that it serves as an inspiration for Syria in its journey towards digital transformation.

In his post, Haikal noted the warm Saudi reception that reflected the depth of brotherly ties, stating that the Syrian delegation felt closely the spirit of integration and joint work, adding: "We return to Damascus with a doubled conviction of the prospects for integration between Syria and Saudi Arabia in the telecommunications and digital development sector."

The minister confirmed that this cooperation is based on a strategic vision established by Syrian President Ahmad al-Shara and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, noting that the upcoming phase will witness the translation of this vision into tangible projects that serve the interests of both countries and the entire region.

Haikal also praised what he found in Saudi Arabia of "loving hearts, inspiring minds, and sincere hands," emphasizing that knowledge, work, and continuous building are the foundation of strength and a guarantee of victory.
